The Alchemized
Women

Ten teachers. Ten practices. A daily journey home to peace, presence, and self-love.

Aug 25 – Sep 4 - One teaching a day - In your inbox

The Invitation

Peace isn't something you go out and find. It's something you can cultivate — and activate — from within.

For ten days, a different teacher offers one practice, one teaching, one tool — for women navigating change, loss, and the long work of coming home to themselves. Ten voices, ten doorways, one shared remembering: you already carry what you're looking for.

01
One practice a day

A 15–20 minute teaching released each morning for 10 days. Watch on your own time.

02
Delivered to you

Straight to your inbox and on YouTube — yours to revisit and share with the women you love.

03
Free & accessible

No cost to join, with Turkish subtitles on every teaching so the practice can travel further.

The Teachers

Ten voices, one heart

A circle of teachers, writers, and practitioners — each offering a doorway into harmony, presence, and self-love.

  • Alison Cohen - You Were Never Meant to Do This Alone: Connection as Practice

Alison Cohen is a mindfulness and compassion teacher and founder of Two Wings Mindfulness, whose own path began with a life-changing silent retreat and continues in the Insight Meditation tradition. Her teaching rests on the understanding that emotions are energy meant to move through us, and that meditation gives us tools to meet hard feelings with steadiness rather than being swept away.

She's especially passionate about trauma-sensitive mindfulness and about communal practice as an act of co-regulation—grounding and supporting one another through life's ups and downs.

  • Anodea Judith

    Anodea Judith

For more than five decades, Anodea Judith has guided seekers, leaders, and change-makers through the intertwined paths of personal awakening and collective transformation, illuminating a way forward in times of uncertainty with clarity, compassion, and fierce love.

With academic training in psychology and religious studies, honed by lived experience, Judith has devoted her life to exploring the sacred architecture that connects mind, body, soul, and culture.

  • Brisa Deneumostier

Brisa Deneumostier - Coming Home to Our Body

Over more than 15 years, Brisa has guided people from diverse backgrounds and ages through mindfulness coaching and mindful travel, retreats, helping them reconnect with their wisdom and love, foster healthy relationships (including with oneself), navigate life's challenges skillfully, and open to appreciate the blissful moments — embracing life fully.

Her approach weaves mindfulness, compassion, body awareness, and nature-based practices, creating spaces where people can gently meet life as it is, with presence, care, and openness — tailored to each individual's needs.

  • Eileen Tupaz - Permission to Pause: Reclaiming Rest as Refuge & Transitions

Eileen Fulache Tupaz, PhD is a Philippine-based clinical psychologist; international mindfulness meditation teacher, mentor and retreat facilitator; well-being consultant and practitioner; and former yoga teacher and yoga teacher trainer. Since 2011, she's been supporting people in the life-long labor of growing lotuses from the proverbial mud and she loves providing this support in the form of teaching, mentoring, counseling and coaching. She's passionate about helping people feel safe (enough) with themselves and in the world so that they can pursue their deepest intentions and embody their highest expressions even in the face of the trials and tribulations of life.

Much of Eileen's mindfulness teaching these days is carried out through the global mindfulness meditation platform Banyan.

  • James Baraz

James Baraz - Joy as a Practice

James has been a meditation teacher since 1978.

He is creator and teacher of the Awakening Joy course (since 2003).

He leads retreats, workshops and classes in U.S and abroad.

Co-founding Teacher of Spirit Rock Meditation Center in Woodacre, CA.

Co-author of Awakening Joy, the book based on the course
(with Shoshana Alexander) and Awakening Joy for Kids (with Michele Lilyanna).

He is a Guiding Teacher for One Earth Sangha, a website devoted to expressing a Buddhist response to Climate Change.

James lives in Berkeley, California with his wife, Jane.
He has two sons and three grandchildren.

  • Lisa Pedscalny

Lisa Pedscalny is a mindfulness teacher rooted in nearly twenty years of Vipassana practice and a lifelong relationship with the natural world. A graduate of the Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program with Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield, she facilitates trauma-informed retreats, courses, mentorship, and sangha gatherings, and serves on the teaching team for Tara Brach's yearlong program, Choosing to Love.

A nature photographer specializing in fungi, Lisa brings the same attentive presence to the forest floor, inviting others into the simple practice of looking closely. Through both photography and teaching, she explores how slowing down and relating intimately with the natural world can soften striving and make mindfulness feel accessible and alive. She lives and practices on Vancouver Island, British Columbia.

  • Nicole Jarosinski

Nicole Jarosinski - When the Heart Breaks Open: Strong Comes After

Nicole studies Early Buddhist Texts and loves to talk philosophy. When facilitating she blends both intellectual and experiential discussions to stimulate deep individual and group development. As a board member of Clear Mountain Monastery, Nicole is using her lay career experience to help build a Theravada forest monastery outside of Seattle in the United States. You can find her leading groups online at Banyan and Boundless Heart Sangha.

  • Sharon Shelton

Sharon Shelton - Inner Freedom, Outer Engagement

Sharon Shelton is a meditation teacher and mentor whose path began in 1997, in recovery from alcoholism — not seeking enlightenment, but a way to stay sober, heal, and live fully. Nearly three decades later, those same practices continue to guide her through recovery, caregiving, grief, aging, and the ordinary joys and heartbreaks of being human.

Rooted in the Insight Meditation tradition, Sharon teaches retreats, courses, and meditation groups. She serves as a mentor in the Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program founded by Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield, and as a Founding Advisor and Lead Teacher with Banyan. She has studied with teachers including Tara Brach, Jack Kornfield, Sharon Salzberg, Ruth King, and James Baraz, and has completed more than 25 residential silent retreats.

About

It’s possible to learn to
hear your body.

If your mind never stops, if your body feels like it’s constantly on high alert, or if health worries are wearing you down — and if you’re tired of people telling you it’s all “in your head” — you’ve come to the right place.
